Usually the problem is stuck drum support rollers. If the belt is broke or the motor is burnt out, then the dryer drum is not turning. Our customers often complain on overheating. It usually happens due to heating element/operation thermostat/ temperature thermistor malfunctions. The overheating can also happen because of restricted vent, though not completely clogged. In old dryers the problem usually roots in damaged or lost door gasket or poor sealant around the drum.

There are three main problems. Operation thermostat is faulty. In this case you can turn on your dryer again but it will stop again in a several minutes. The most frequent reason is an old water filter. It shall be replaced at least once six months and if not then it gets clogged and no water through. The next top common reason is one or several misfunctioning water valves. Or it can be one or two broken nippels in water filter head, therefore water is blocked. And finally, water problems can be caused by defective dispenser control boards, dispenser switch or the door switch.

Probably the problem is in lost communication between key pad and electronic control board. There may be both key pad and control board malfunctions. The replacement of one of them is needed.
